| Each year, Kirklees Culture and Leisure Services har the prestigious “Yorkshire Cup” - a Junior International Soccer Festival which features different teams from all very many regions the world who love soccer. |
| The event takes place over a long weekend in summer with junior football and mini soccer being played in a series of competitions.Years past the event has attracted teams from USA, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Eire, France, Italy, Holland, Greece, Germany, Sudan, Taiwan, Mexico, Poland, South Africa and Spain.
The aim is to make each year’s event better than those that have gone before, with more fun, more for participants, more for the kids and more for the organisers and parents. |
